From Dr. Doran Riehl

To my wonderful patients,

I hope this letter finds you well.

Thirty-four years ago, I joined my father, Ronald Riehl's, dental practice. It has been an incredible honor to continue the tradition of caring for this community, and I am deeply grateful for the relationships we have built over the years.

After much thought and careful consideration, I have made the difficult decision to retire and sell my dental practice. This was not an easy decision, as serving as your dentist has been one of the greatest joys and most rewarding experiences of my life. I am sincerely thankful for the trust, loyalty, and confidence you have placed in me throughout the years.

My greatest priority throughout this transition has been ensuring that you continue to receive the highest quality dental care. After a thorough search, I am pleased to announce that Dr. Gordon Gill DDS has taken over the practice. I am confident that he shares the same dedication to excellence, patient-centered care, and values that have always been the foundation of our practice.

Dr. Gill graduated with honors from the University of Washington School of Dentistry and is a highly skilled and experienced dentist. He is excited to be in Yakima and experience all the great things Eastern Washington has to enjoy. I have spent many hours getting to know Dr. Gill professionally and personally, and I am confident you will find him to be caring, compassionate, and attentive to your dental health.

Although I have retired from the day-to-day practice of dentistry, I want to assure you that your dental records, treatment plans, and any on-going care will transition seamlessly. The same highly skilled and compassionate team you have known, and trust will remain in place to continue providing outstanding care.

As I reflect on the past 34 years, I am filled with gratitude. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your lives and for entrusting me with your dental care. It has truly been a privilege to serve you and your families. I hope you will welcome Dr. Gordon Gill with the same kindness and confidence you have always shown me.

Thank you again for your loyalty, friendship, and support throughout the years. I wish you and your families continued health, happiness, and many reasons to smile.

A note from Dr. Gordon Gill

Hello, I grew up in the Renton area and have always had a passion for helping others. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in public health from the University of Washington before going on to earn my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. 

For me, dentistry is more than just a profession, it’s an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. I love combining my technical knowledge with a personal approach to help patients improve their oral health, feel comfortable in their smiles, and leave the office feeling genuinely cared for. 

Now, as the owner of my dental practice in Yakima, I am excited to build a practice centered around personalized care, trust, and lasting relationships with my patients and the community. I look forward to getting to know the families I am serving and creating an environment where my patients feel comfortable, heard, and confident in their care.

Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé, my dog, family, and friends. I love staying active, working out, exploring Washington, and cheering on my favorite sports teams. I am a passionate sports fan, I enjoy watching football and basketball, and have recently added hocky to the list!
